David Atwell III grew up in southeast Georgia and graduated from Burke County High School. After high school, David enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged in 2005. He is currently licensed in water distribution and works as an engineer in Dekalb County.
David was raised in the church and was taught to have a profound reverence for the Heavenly Father. In 2017, David started to study Yahuah’s word more deeply and in 2018 he started teaching others. In 2022, he was ordained as a minister.
Tarla grew up in Jefferson, Georgia and graduated from Jackson County Comprehensive High School. She went on to graduate from Spelman College, Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science. She continued her education at Shorter University, Rome, Georgia with a Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree. She then attended John Marshall Law School, Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor (J.D.). She currently practices law in Jefferson, Georgia.
Tarla was raised in the Presbyterian Church and accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. Tarla has dedicated her whole life to serving Yahuah and Yahuah’s people through her gift of music with various ministries. Minister David and Tarla met through a blind date arranged by Minister Al and Falisha back in 2008. After 5 years of dating, Tarla and David tied the knot in 2014.
Currently Minister David and Tarla enjoy serving Yahuah’’s people with Yashar’el Truth Ministries.
